Stillwater Farm was established in 1987 when my grandparents bought the property. Being raised around horses they quickly became my passion. Showing on the local show circuit and trail riding was my life starting at the young age of five years old. After marrying my best friend we moved away for a few years. Realizing I couldn't live without my horse in my back yard we quickly started looking for a place to call home with our horses. What better place than the farm I grew up on.
My Husband, two daughters, Grandfather, Father In-Law and I all now call Stillwater Farm home. Moving back and purchasing the family farm has proven to be one of the best decisions we have ever made. Bringing the farm back to life has been a three year journey, it had been completely let go as my grandparents grew older they were not able to maintain the property. Today it’s better than ever, 100% new fencing around the entire farm, the main barn has been completely gutted and re built from the ground up. We have added two riding rings, a tack trailer, picnic area and so much more!
Horses have always been my passion, watching my daughters grow up around them as I did is truly magical. My husband definately married into the horse world but has quickly adapted and has a love for horses. We enjoy staying busy around the farm, trail riding, attending shows with our daughters and occasionally sneaking away for a family camping trip here and there.
One of the benefits of having four generations under one roof is there is always someone home to keep an eye on the farm and our four legged friends. Moving back to the family farm and calling it home was a dream come true. Stillwater Farm will stay in our family for many more years to come! May 2017
